IN CONVERSATION WITH SOPHIE VAN BRUGEN
Carol was one of the faces of the 1980s as the lead singer of T’Pau with hits including Heart and Soul – the name of her autobiography. But her life in the dizzy world of pop had lows as well as highs. With honesty, Carol reflects on the breakup of her band, how she finally found love and happiness away from the spotlight and how she helped run The Cherry Tree Inn in Stoke Row. Her enthralling story with a local twist is dotted with names like Princess Diana, Elton John and Paul McCartney.
