A Cast of 200 Donate their Time to Raise Money In Abbey Road Studio’s Biggest Ever Recording Session

Multi-million selling artists from Michael Bolton, to Robin Gibb, to Hayley Westenra contributed to the song, written by A1's Mark Read and Whitesnake's Robert Hart. They performed alongside The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Pipes & Drums from the Army School of Bagpipe Music & Drumming, Bugles from The Academy of Music at Kneller Hall, a Choir of Celebrities and The Carmel Thomas Youth Choir.

Paul Carrack, Kenney Jones, Paul Rodgers, Lee Mead, Mark Read, Mica Paris, Natasha Hamilton, Hayley Westenra, Carol Decker, Nell Bryden and Liz McClarnon also starred.

All proceeds will go directly to the Royal British Legion and the Help For Heroes charity by

SRLV Accountants and Coutts Bank. The money will help support injured troops and families whose loved ones have paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.

The 48hr Party will feature Carol performing along with other artists including Paul Young, Toyah Willcox, Brother Beyond and The Christians.

This years Rewind Festival will include the following artists. On Saturday, 21st August 2010:

Boy George, Rick Astley, Heaven 17, The Weather Girls, Curiosity Killed The Cat, Altered Images, Jimmy Somerville, T'Pau, Imagination, Kajagoogoo, and Modern Romance.

On Sunday, 22nd August 2010:

Marc Almond, Midge Ure, Chesney Hawkes, Kid Creole & The Coconuts, Odyssey, Hazel O'Connor, Johnny Hates Jazz, and The Beat.
